This is what's happening in my world tonight...

Alright folks this is my first real attempt at blogging outside of myspace so please be patient with how truly horrible it is. By the way thanks for checking the blog. You know it's awesome.
First up is my employment news. For those of you who didn't hear last Friday was my final day at 5 buck pizza. What I know most of you don't know is that today I went in for a job interview at Allied Barton Security and got a new job. My training starts this Tuesday and I will be working Friday through Monday during the swing shift. My job is going to be protecting a pharmaceutical company from four to midnight. It will get me some good experience and I will be able to save up some money.
Next up is Kung Fu news. Sifu Snyder is putting a demo team together to perform at different venues to help promote the school. The demo team is for those of a blue sash or higher rank. Basically we will be getting nice southern Chinese uniforms and learn a special and rare spear form to show off to different crowds. Anyway my friend Nick and I asked if we could be on the team and now we are learning the Plum Flower Spear form. The name might not be the most macho but believe me it is impressive. Technically this form is only taught to senior students, so to be learning it is awesome in itself.
Another piece of Kung Fu news is I got my waxwood staff in the mail this week. That should help with my training at home with I practice my Monkey Staff form. I took it to Kung Fu yesterday and Sifu Snyder commented on how many knots are in the wood. After hear that I decided to name it "The Knotty Stick," which was funny because I asked Sifu Snyder if he has named any of his weapons and he said that he doesn't name them because they are an extension of himself, thus making my staff's nickname ten times funnier.
I guess that is pretty much all that is new with my life with the exception of the awards banquet on Saturday. I will tell you all how that goes in my next entry. Until then enjoy yourselves.
